PET material vs. other materials
EPOPACK has been working in cosmetic packaging industry over 30 years. In the past, we used many different materials in our products. From our experience, we learned PET is the most suitable material for cosmetic packaging. As PET material has high transparency which allows customers have more possibilities in their design (PP material can't be crystal clear), PET also has good chemical resistance which is able to contain most of cosmetic/skin care products (Acrylic and AS are a bit more acidity sensitive). PET has good physical resistance which provides shatterproof feature ( Glass has more breakage issue). PET has international recycle code number 1. It is a good eco-friendly material ( PP is with number 5 ; PETG, Acrylic and AS are number 7). PET material has also more competitive price.
